I think sewing clothes is a great idea. I’ve made some doll clothes for myself in the past but I haven’t sewn my own. I like making my own clothes but I’ve never wanted to make doll clothes. If you are going to sew your own clothes, you need to be a little careful. Before you begin sewing, you’ll probably want to make sure you know how to use the machine. You want to make sure your shirt is long enough so it doesn’t drag on the floor and tear. You want to make sure your skirt is long enough to cover your butt so it doesn’t rip.
As for sewing your own clothes, I recommend using a needle and thread that you like to work with. I also make sure to make my own thread so I dont get stuck using generic thread.
