I have a collection of six dolls that I don’t wear. They are a mix of vintage, vintage-inspired, and new.
They’re called Six Dolls because each of these dolls represents a different part of my life. The first of the six dolls is a child of mine, named “Stacy.” I gave Stacy a set of Barbie dolls when she was born and now she uses them as her toy collection. The second doll is a girl named “Julia.” I have a third doll named “Lily.
The doll you just saw? Well, that’s my fourth one. The sixth and final doll is my wife, and she’s the newest addition to my collection. It’s a doll named Lucy. I bought her from the Toys-R-Us store in Ohio when she was young, but she was passed around the store a few times. She then started getting on my nerves a bit.
Stacy is a doll who’s supposed to be an anti-anxiety doll, and she’s in a constant state of anxiety. She spends a lot of her time worrying that her little sister is being bullied by boys in the doll store. She has a few dolls of her own, but she also seems to be the go-to doll for some of the boys who seem to be bullying her.
I had a few issues with Stacy, but as for Lucy, she has been well-loved by my wife for years. Though she is now in a few toys, she is still a favorite of mine. She is not the most graceful of dolls, but she is a doll and I am sure she is loved.
